Growing up I cherished reliving memories with my grandparents looking through their old photo albums and hearing the stories that came along with those memories. I felt inspired and joyful when I walked into my grandmother's dining room where she had all 50+ grandchildren and great-grandchildren proudly displayed in frames and to this day I'm still in awe of how she managed to create such priceless heirlooms for us simply by documenting and collecting our stories in photographs. What an incredible gift from one of my greatest role models. Sure, we can now collect even more images and rely on photo services to find and share our memories for us, but it got me thinking, photographs are more than just digital files to preserve the memories and times we've had. Until recently, I thought THAT was the most important part. I started to realize that our photographs are the greatest artwork we will ever own. Placing images in our own home that show strong emotion, milestone moments, family bond, and incredible energy have had quite the positive effect on our wellbeing. Increased confidence, better memory, a boost in self-esteem, better decision making and increased focus and ability to calm the mind are just some of the effects I have noticed in myself, my children and even our guests. 

We've been blessed with technology that has far exceeded expectations - we can literally have a camera with us 24/7 and capture quality photos and videos every second of every day. AI can manipulate them for us, too! But then, overwhelm! Now we have too many photos and videos and no time to sort and organize them. Even if you are one of the lucky ones who does have them all organized, how do you possibly choose which ones are printed and displayed and which ones are inserted in albums or books? I used to always want "all the images" but what I've learned recently, is that I just didn't know what I wanted. I was just putting off the decision making. After your session I will do the hard work of identifying the very best images and creating an incredible presentation to reveal those images to you. Then we meet and I share this with you! We laugh, we cry, and I help you choose the perfect images for your artwork. Once your photographs arrive, I will help you choose custom framing that brings it all together. Once the framing is done, I'll return once more to deliver and even install your final artwork if you'd like.
